Career Counselling

All career counselling sessions are personalised. They offer opportunities for you to identify your strengths and challenges in addition to developing strategies with which to meet you current and future career needs.

Counselling sessions provide opportunities for you to:

  • Talk about your current career issues
  • Identify what is important to you in a career
  • Explore identified career interests that are likely lead to a satisfying career
  • Set short term and long term career goals
  • Develop strategies with which to achieve your career goals

Career Assessments

Online assessments are available as part of a career transition or career development program. Career assessments are useful in determining which careers are more likely to match your career interests and personality, and  lead to satisfying career – life choices.

Strong Interest (SII) assessments

The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) is a self-assessment that is completed online. It is extensively used in career counselling and career development to assist clients to identify their careers interests. A comprehensive 16 page report and a feedback session are offered to client seeking to make informed career decisions. SAMPLE

Career Fast Track Assessments

Career Fast Track assessments include the following online assessments. They form part of an overall career development program in which clients are assisted to identify and plan their next career path.

  • Career Interests
  • Transferable Skills
  • Personality
  • Career Obstacles
  • Employ-ability Skills

Process

Assessments will be emailed to you after an initial consultation. You will be asked to answer a range of diagnostic assessment questions. These tests help target careers most suited to your personality, values, interests and skills.

All reports are available for review and discussion during a follow up consultation.
